When you download Film Designs 4, Microsoft Defender SmartScreen may display a message indicating the app is an "unrecognized app" and prevent it from starting. Don’t worry—this is a common precaution taken by Windows for software downloaded from the Internet.

Why Does This Happen?

Our software is safe and secure. However, Microsoft Defender SmartScreen may flag it as "unrecognized" because our app hasn’t yet built a broad reputation with Microsoft’s system. This doesn’t mean there’s a problem with the software.

What Should You Do?

Google Chrome users:

• Click "More Info"

When the warning appears, click the "More Info" link on the message.

• Select "Run Anyway"

After clicking "More Info," you'll see the option to "Run Anyway." Click this to proceed with the installation.

• Follow the Installation Instructions

The software will now install successfully. Continue with the prompts to complete the setup.

Microsoft Edge users:

• Handle the SmartScreen Alert:

Hover over the downloaded file and click the three dots to the right of the file.

• Bypass the Alert:

Select "Keep" from the menu. A warning message will appear. Click "Show More". Then, choose "Keep Anyway" to confirm that you trust the file.

• Run the Installer:

After bypassing the alert, double-click the file to begin the installation process. Continue with the prompts to complete the setup.
